The vehicle was 1 qt. low on oil, so I topped it off, and what do you know: no more noise! I'm thinking it was just valve train noise caused by the low oil. This engine had 200,000+ miles on it, after all. Ran it for an hour, and drove it all over the place, a... Login to read more.
