I have replaced these PCMs for very similar symptoms, but be wary that a shorted sensor on the 8 volt circuit is probably a more likely scenario. Usually, when a crank sensor, cam sensor, vss etc shorts out it will cause the PCM to shut itself down c... Login to read more.
