Ok but that still doesn't explain why a torque value given in kg/m is wrong. You just showed where kg/m was used to arrive at the value for a newton. If 1kg is equal to 9.81 newtons I don't see why it's wrong to give torque values as kg/m and right as n/m. Al... Login to read more.
