Is a pound not a unit of mass? Actually what your describing is a unit of work with a force over a distance. Torque is a force applied to the radius. In this case it would be 1lb applied to a 1ft radius or 1 newton applied to a 1 meter radius or 1 kilogram ap... Login to read more. ![]()
