Re: 02 Jeep Cherokee had bad replaced, now has SES light on
A P0601 is a "check sum" error (internal programming) in the
PCM. If that DTC is genuine, you'll need to replace the PCM
and load the VIN. Don't try a used unit or you may have to
replace the BCM also.
