On the Chrysler 3.0 if its a hard tap I would bet one are 2 have been installed upside down, if a lite tap and sounds like more than one lifter then its a lifter rocker problem. Swap'n the oil filter and oil would be a cheap experiment. Checking lifer problems... Login to read more.
