1. A converter lifespan is indefinite. My 1980 240 (B21) was still working just fine (clean as a whistle at tailpipe) at 350K when I sold it. I routinely see cars with 200K+ with functioning cats. Factor in areas w/o emissions where function is irrelevant and ... Login to read more.
