man.. I hope he didn't say amp. That's a 1/2 volt, not amp. I suspect if it were pulling a half amp... you really WOULD have a problem...lol

Many of the old aluminum DPFE's did have .5 volts at no flow, that was normal. Doesn't matter though for the problem ... Login to read more.
