Well, you are correct. The test light is NOT the proper tool anymore, never was for this purpose. Using a test light as a shunt for amp draw will often NOT allow the modules (BCM,ECM,etc.) enough power to exit "sleep" mode. That'll allow continued higher curre... Login to read more.
