I am not an engineer, but I'll explain what I think it is. The grease gets inside the threads of the lug nut. You torque it, then drive. The heat generated by the brakes melts the grease, and it runs out the lug nut slowly. The "hydraulic lock" effect is not t... Login to read more. ![]()
