GM:Need Help indentifying emissions componets

I have a 73 Gm Heavy duty truck, 8600lbs, I need to know if
there were some of the trucks equiped with fedural
emissions equipment that have a charcol canister with no
air injection....

One book says if it has a canister it is Calif equiped,Login to read more.
