When you say disabled, is the STFT mirroring the opposite bank? If so, then yes. I was just looking at a 98 F150 4.6L the other day with a completely inactive O2 sensor on bank 1. The STFTB1 was mirroring STFTB2. Replaced the O2 sensor and everything was back ... Login to read more.
