Hi Ron,

What year Volvo? Was it CAN compliant? Is your scan tool CAN capable? If it is a 1996 or newer vehicle sold in the US it will have generic access. If it is CAN compliant, you must have a CAN capable scan tool to access the data and codes. Login to read more.
