Ih a case like this,when I'm not sure whether the map reading is a cause or effect,I use vacuum pump to apply 18in vaguum to map sensor. If it is a cause,idle will straighten right out. If not,you must determine case of low vacuum before proceeding. Don't forg... Login to read more.
