Re: Washing/Cleaning brake rotors
Because the alcohol in the brake cleaner embeds in the porous metal surface, only to be re-catalyzed the first time the brakes get hot. This forms a film on the rotor and pad that equals to noise. I also understand that the alcohol can attack the resin in the ... Login to read more. ![]()
