I agree with the others so far that this is a pretty poor post, but I believe, on those older GM's if the CEL bulb is burnt out, a svcanner cannot comm with the ECM, as the bulb circuit is part of the ALDL ground. Obviously with a bad bulb, you can't jump AB t... Login to read more.
