Before I got the tool set I did a couple of VAG 2.8 Timing belts. They aren't as tight of a fit as some of the late 1.8 or diesel belts. Along with the Crank pin and cam bar you should get the sprocket puller. I got mine at the dealer, it was less expensive. I... Login to read more.
