Ben, it may have a leaking plate gasket under the intake manifold. It makes up the bottom of the intake. When it leaks, the engine breathes air (intake leak) from the crankcase. It tends to lean out the mixture and causes pinging & oil consumption. You can che... Login to read more. ![]()
