Hi Richard. I have a 3lb slide hammer kit I got at NAPA ( there cheaper line of tools) it comes with an adaptor to use on your vice grips. Pop the axle apart incar, clamp on to the inner joint cup, bang bang its out. Very handy. Login to read more.
