I personally "run in" the cam and engine on rotella t oil ( has zinc for flat tappet cam break in ). and IF the cylinder finish is done CORRECTLY then the rings will seat almost immediately. I then us a synthectic after the 30 minute run in. All of my engines ... Login to read more.
