140k, what about a couple weak valvesprings? Or tight guides? You say vacuum gauge dips when it misses which indicates a pumping problem to me. That and the kettle pops out the exhaust. Hard to prove though as intermittent as this seems. Maybe try a top engine... Login to read more.
