68 Pontiac 400. Hmmm, rope seal are not that tough to do with alot of tapping and cussing. :) BUT as I recall this 400 uses a pin like retainer to hold the upper half in. You will have to pull the crank to remove the upper rope and pin. Or just do it like they... Login to read more.
