Hi Eric. Coking buildup on the spark plug is typical of either a bad valve guide/failed seal or an intake manifold leaking and sucking oil into the port from the lifter valley. Given the oil consumption concern, a leaking intake is more likely. Those pushrod 5... Login to read more.
