Hi Douglas. Any crank which has suffered a bearing failure should have end thrust checked, then be removed, cleaned, inspected and measured for out of round, taper and barrel shape using a vernier micrometer. Run out should be checked on V blocks. The engine s... Login to read more. ![]()
