Boy are they talking old vehicles!!! The testing was done in 2003 (from the article) but the vehicles they tested where sold in:

VN Commodore - 1988 to 1990

VK Commodore - 1984 ( they used the carby version with a Vari-Jet - damn nasty carb!!)
