In the pre-QDM days it was not uncommon to fry an ECM due to a short or low resistance in a circuit. That was why they had you do certain resistance checks, such as the TCC solenoid. Now they still have you do it but just so it doesn't set the QDM code again a... Login to read more. ![]()
