Years ago I seen a company that put several brands of oil to tests more stressful than a SAE test . Castrol GTX was the only brand that passed in the 10w40 catagory. Castrol, pennzoil, & Valvoline in that order passed the 10w30 catagory. Don't rememeber the 5w... Login to read more.
