Hi Scott,

I had one of those that was setting a charging code, PCM thought the alt was outputting over 17 volts and shut down the alt.

When the PCM goes into this overvoltage protection mode, it shuts down ALL of the solenoid drivers to prevent overcurrent... Login to read more.
