That's weird...you think the rings are gummed to the cylinder? Try GM top engine cleaner, spray can. Or choke cleaner. I'd pry back and forth right on the teeth of the flywheel. Or use an air hammer on a converter bolt, while prying. Pull the start... Login to read more.
