Sounds like it's going into 3rd gear limp-mode. Could be a number of things. One thing that comes to mind is the AT control relay, (usually)located on bulkhead/firewall behind brake pedal. Sometimes whacking it can (temporarily) restore proper trans function. ... Login to read more.
