Hey Scott, The most common problem I've had with the 171's and 174's besides intake plenum gaskets has been a dirty/contaminated air flow sensor hot wire. Pull that air flow sensor out of the box and clean it with some carb cleaner. I did have one Windstar kic... Login to read more.
