Powerstroke PCM flash needed w/replacement?

Hi all

We recently replaced a 96 f-250 7.3L pcm W/a ford unit from our local dealer to repair a P0605 ROM error code. The truck will not start w/the replacement unit and sends out tons of codes. Like a defective PCM or the incorrect application.
