Allright - I solved my problem. It appears the PSOM signal to the PCM is normal[1996 Ford Pickup F350, VSS Waveform]. As soon as I removed the performance chip(!!) from the PCM I got a vehicle speed reading on my scanner and my backfire went away. I did notice... Login to read more.
