Re: gear ratio
To get the ratio , one wheel stays still , turn the other whell two full turns and count the number of times the pinion turns. You have to use judgement on the ratio , 4.1 turns is a 4:10 , 4.5 is a 4:50. I like to mark them at the start where is is easy to se... Login to read more. ![]()
