Back when I was in college I was taught that the US, by law, was supposed to be all metric by 1980. That's why all cars after 1980 have metric nuts and bolts. I think Ronney Reagan put the "kabosh" on the law to save corperations money. That was 26 years ago, ... Login to read more. ![]()
