The two posters before me explained it well enough. I thought I'd just point out that the emmissions warranty used to be 5 years and 50,000 miles before 1994. The present 2yr./24,000 mile with the 8/80 for ECU and Cat. Converter was pushed for by some aftermar... Login to read more.
