For some reason Dodge V8 engines are VERY suseptible to cavitation damage in the water pump area. I've changed water pumps on 5.2's and 5.9's and found 3/4 of the metal under the impeller just eaten away leaving a 6-8 mm gap between the impeller and... Login to read more.
