Re: GM diesel cold weather op.
The compressor shaft in a turbocharger spins at very high RPM. The bearing clearances cold are considerable. Warmed up, the clearances decrease. Also, lube oil flows better after warmup and lube to the critter is critical. So, best to warm up a diesel time var... Login to read more. ![]()
