Re: Ignition resistor resistance
Hi Jim, my guess is to measure the coil primary resistance and find a ballast resistor of equal value to drop 6 volts across each one. Pay attention to the watts: volts X amps. You will need a resistor that can dissipate the heat of 8 to 12 watts. Login to read more. ![]()
