Re: Winter cold starts
Unless it's arctic cold, start it, wait for full oil pressure to build, then drive it under light load until up to operating temperature. It only wastes fuel to idle extensively for warm up, and on some diesels it may cause more damage than good from raw fuel ... Login to read more. ![]()
