Hi Bob. I only worked on a few vehicles equipped with torque tube shaft set ups, Ramblers as I recall. It is likely cost related when simple cardan joints do the job well enough and for serviceability ease. I remember pulling the rear end back with torque tube... Login to read more. ![]()
