Wade, I had an '91 w/similar symptoms and the base of the drive for the p/s counterpump was broken(the [...] tab was snapped)such that the whole assy would ride up on decel and drop [...] tab was intact enough to keep the assy. from spinning,and it would alway... Login to read more.
