Hi Ron- I've run into this too, and I have used my 3/8 breaker bar to hold the tensioner. Maybe you could find/borrow one. I find it comes in handy for stuff like this. I've also loosened motor mounts and used a floor jack to give me a little more room. -Buck Login to read more.
