Rusty, I have replaced tons of GM 2.8/3.1 2 wire crank sensors that were open circuit resistance causing no start but would create good open circuit AC voltage. The input resistance of test equipment is very high (1 megohm to 10 megohm) so there is no load. Co... Login to read more.
