Good point re the vacuum-booster section in the mechanical fuel pump. I don't recall if a Stude of that vintage had such a pump, but when I put the V8 into my '60 Comet, I went with an electric fuel pump, hence no vacuum booster. The wipers were always margina... Login to read more.
