Thomas, you will need a volt meter to check these parts.

At the door switch you should have 12+ on both wires pnk/yel and pnl/lt grn . When you hit UNLOCK the pnk/lt grn stays hot and the other grounds and shows no voltage. This in turn activates the LOCK RE... Login to read more.
