Re: 1998 Chrysler town and country van high altitude brake fade.
Faster driving allows less cooling time for a given heat load which should stay the same for the same distance and decline. I discovered that racing down a curvy mountain road would cook the brakes in a hurry. Have them take more time on the way down. Login to read more. ![]()
