I ran across TSB Group 24, No. 99-04 which has a breather valve kit part number 037 198 002 to install. That particular TSB covers oil on MAF sensor for 1996-98 2.0L engines. Perhaps this addresses your concern? I can e-mail a pdf of the bulletin if you like. Login to read more.
