I swapped a 89 318 into 88 V6 full size pickup once. Everything was different. Ended up using 88 computer harness and modified it to reach sensors on 89 engine. I think the 88 had cruise so I had to use that harness. Transmissions had to be swapped due to diff... Login to read more.
