DOT 3 would be usual fluid to use. DOT 5 (NOT DOT 5A, new fluid) I have used for some time with success but ONLY with everything rubber being new and ALL DOT 3 fluid flushed out before DOT 5 was installed. Great information linked on to many old car web sites ... Login to read more. ![]()
